Winter is coming.

For those of you that live outside the warmer climates the chill in the air can mean only one thing - winter is on it's way. It means we have a limited amount of time to finish up the heavy work and tighten our belts for a slower work schedule. My wife and I have a couple dozen residential clients that have us do their exterior windows on a monthly basis and that keeps us out in the cold enough for my taste.
One thing to think about is that to work outside in the temps we do you'll need to use chemicals to keep the water from freezing on the glass and in the bucket. The best advice I could give here is to reduce skin contact to a minimum and make sure you carry (and read of course) the MSDS sheet for these (or any) chemicals.
Beyond that make sure you have a comfortable and warm pair of gloves to keep as much dexterity as possible in the colder temps.
Since it is close to winter make sure to look out for this seasons Weather or Not series that should begin soon.
Here's a video from the first season that gives a few ideas for staying warm -http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QhjbZIDeYGQ
